Ooof. CBS’s Tumblr. A “real” Tumblr manned by poor souls who have to pretend they’re just messing around, posting content they like, and not linking to the most recent moments on “Survivor” because it’s their job. What I don’t get is why they think the spaghetti behind Caruso was a good choice. Spaghetti? What on Earth has that to do with anything? Was that it though, poor souls? Be weird, be odd, be quirky, and maybe get some followers? Meh. I’m not falling for it. I’m not even linking to it. And I actually like “CSI: Miami”. (Well, hate, really, but love to hate.)
But is this the beginning of the end for my beloved Tumblr? Will it now turn into MySpace where you can befriend such notables as Chili’s, Travelocity’s Roaming Gnome, or, I don’t know, Rice-A-Roni’s streetcar? Will I suddenly feel compelled to follow the Jiffy Lube Tumblog or to repost something from Eggo Waffles? Eeew.
